Solla’s Partners – A Very Special Group of Donors
Many of our benefactors over the years have notified us that they have included
CPL in their overall estate plan, either through a bequest or a charitable
gift instrument. We are incredibly appreciative of this generosity and regard
it as an exemplary way to honor the mission of the organization!
Solla’s Partners is a new society we’ve created to recognize all
of the generous donors that are remembering Canine Partners through a planned
gift. Soon, you will receive informative materials about this program by mail
and the various opportunities available to you. Our new planned giving section
of our website will provide the answers to many of your questions.
It has long been the desire of the CPL Board to create a permanent endowment
fund to ensure that we will always have the resources to train partner dogs
for those that desperately need them. In its 17 year history, CPL has had to
raise every dollar that it expends annually, putting tremendous pressure on
the budget and limiting the services that can be provided. Your planned gift
and those of others will be directed to this new endowment fund which will,
over time, provide a permanent source of funding. In so doing, you will be
honored as a member of Solla’s Partners.
Solla’s Partners will ensure that Solla’s dream lives on. If you

activities and opportunities which will be made available to Solla’s
Partners.
* Solla was CPL’s first service dog; she led the dream which created
CPL. She was a beautiful female black Labrador, rescued from the Delaware SPCA,
who represented CPL for many years, while educating the public about the wonderful
difference a service dog can make in someone’s life.
